Benefit Sales Shows of the Society

The Society of Animal Artists has reached an agreement with The Wildlife Experience (TWE) museum to hold a "Small Works Exhibition and Sale" annually over a period of five years, beginning during the 2007 holiday period. Two-dimensional works will be restricted to a 12" X 16" maximum (192 square inches), while three-dimensional works will be required to fit within a 12" X 12" X 12" cube. Members will be eligible to have a maximum of two works juried into this exhibit and sale. The show will be sales-oriented, and a 25% commission will benefit The Wildlife Experience.

David Liniger, TWE Chairman, has accepted the invitation, and signed a contract worked out by SAA Board Member and Exhibition Chairman, Diane Mason, and Dr. David J. Wagner, SAA Curator and Tour Director. The Wildlife Experience has enjoyed hosting the annual exhibition of the SAA annually since opening in 2002, and Mr. Liniger believes the new "Small Works Exhibition and Sale" "will be a fabulous addition to our museum!" TWE will hosted the premier event during the 2007 Christmas holiday shopping season.
