SAA High School Student Scholarship Awards

The Society of Animal Artists was pleased to introduce a student scholarship contest starting in 2019 in conjunction with the SAA Annual Exhibition in San Antonio, Texas.  Working with regional high school teachers, the Society reviewed entries from students representing the greater San Antonio area. In addition to the students, the winning schools each received $1,000 for their art departments. The top winners’ artworks were displayed in person at the Briscoe Western Art Museum and the students, their parents and teachers were honored guests at the reception on September 19th, 2019.
