Show Us How It’s Done…
We are offering BRIEF (5 – 15 minute) educational tutorials on our website about all different types of art subjects for our members. At some point in the future, we might also wish to make them available to non-members to pique their interest in our organization.
SO… do you have a video tutorial you would be willing to share with the SAA? We are seeking subjects which are going to be of potential interest to our own members – Demonstrating a new product? Showing how to use a particular medium – or little secrets which make working with this medium more effective? How do you determine whether a photo can make an effective painting in terms of composition? Can you demonstrate how to simplify the process of drawing from a live model? We are open to reviewing whatever you have to offer! Video and audio quality must be good. Subject matter is open, but should be as concise as possible, and of interest to serious artists. As a society, we are supposed to support our fellow members in their development and pursuit of excellence. We hope to build a library of educational tutorials which will be available in our backroom indefinitely, always available for access to our members.
If you would be willing to contribute to this project and share your knowledge with our fellow members, please contact Diane Mason: diane@ddmason.com, and share your video with her. A committee will review all offerings and initially select four or five to initiate our tutorial library.
